2020 - 2021 Star Mates Academy

The Star Mates have competed in both the Intermediate and Novice divisions in recent years. In the 2021 - 2022 season, they will represent HSST in the Intermediate Division. They are the current 2020 US National Bronze medalists in the Novice division.
Star Mates athletes range in age from 12 to 18 and have hometowns in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Each season, it is the team's mission to earn medals at Sectionals and Nationals while perfecting the skills necessary to move up to higher divisions. The Star Mates give back to the community through volunteer work and have participated in charitable fundraisers both to fight Ovarian Cancer and to support the Jimmy Fund.This year the Star Mates are actively supporting Hope and Comfort, a nonprofit organization that provides essential hygiene products to youth and families in need
